My Attempt to Translate: Dil to bachcha hai ji (ISHQIYA)

Dil to bachcha hai ji is a wonderful song from the movie ISHQIA... Lyrics penned by Gulzar ... brought into life with the music of Vishal Bharadwaj through the voice of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

It was my frnd who wanted to understand the song.. and i am trying to translate it... few of the words and meanings are borrowed.. but its my perception of the song...

if you have some other words please help to translate better...

my urdu is not very good... but here is my attempt...

These knotty eyes does not stop staring at her...

Daant se reshmi dor katt ti nahi

Teeth are not able to cut the silk thread...

Umar kab ki baras ke safaid ho gayi

but the dark clouds of youth are not fading away...

Walla ye dhadkan bhadne lagi hai

Walla {exclamation}... these heart beats are raising...

Chehre ki rangat.... udne lagi hai

The charm on the face... is fading away...

Darr lagta hai tanha sone mein ji

I feel afraid of sleeping alone..

Dil to bachcha hai ji

The Heart is still a kid...

It is still little unripe...

I always used to think... it would be good.. as someone like me..

Hai zor karein, kitna shor karein

its causes stress.... it makes noise...

Bewaja baatein pe ainwe gaur karein

with out any reason... it ponders over various things...

Dilsa koi kameena nahi

There isn't anyone as wicked as heart..

Koi to rokey, koi to tokey
